How to use
- Paste participants into the list, separated by new lines, commas or spaces. Click "Tidy up" to put one name per line.
- Set how many winners to draw and whether the same person can win more than once.
- Click "Draw". Check "Remove winners from the list" to run several rounds in a row.
FAQ
Is the draw fair?
It uses your browser's cryptographic random number generator (crypto.getRandomValues) with rejection sampling to avoid bias, so everyone has exactly the same chance.
Can I separate names with commas or spaces?
Yes. New lines, commas, semicolons and spaces all work, so you can paste a spreadsheet column or a chat message directly. If your list has full names with spaces (e.g. John Smith), uncheck "Split on spaces too" to keep them whole. Click "Tidy up" to check the list one name per line first.
What happens with duplicate names?
Each entry counts as one chance, so a name listed twice has two chances to win. Remove duplicates first if you don't want that.
Is my list saved or uploaded?
No. The list only lives on the current page and disappears when you close or refresh it.
